05.06.04 - nikon coolpix 3200
Unfortunately, my previous camera (a Canon A70) recently kicked the bucket, so I purchased a new one. Let me say this to anyone buying ANYTHING: Look for prices online. If you just google camera model in quotes on google you find a million and a half price comparison prices. How good of a deal did I get this camera for? Well, I'm not going to be exact, but I'll say it was $70 cheaper at some unknown electronics website than it was at walmart.
I think I don't like the way the camera operates as much as I liked the A70, but I think the pictures it takes are a LOT better.
Pros: very clear pictures, autofocus works well, image resize feature on the camera, ability to leave voice memo on images, 16 scene modes almost make manual completely unnecessary, warns if images are/will be blurry, nice physique
Cons: no manual feature! without flash images are shaky. you are unable to customize size and quality (choose from 3 settings, only one of which has is superfine quality), in-camera resize produces low quality images.
That's all I can think of right now. The first pictures you take with your camera are always the most interesting, so enjoy. Note: These pictures were compressed to make their file sizes smaller. The originals are GREAT quality.
